Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals signed former first- round pick linebacker Aaron Maybin to a reserve/future contract Friday.
The 11th overall selection of the 2009 draft by the Buffalo Bills, Maybin played in eight games for the New York Jets last season before getting released on Nov. 13, recording just one tackle.
His best year as a pro came in 2011 while also with the Jets, as he finished the campaign with 11 tackles and six sacks.
The 24-year-old has 36 career tackles and six sacks over 48 career games with Buffalo and New York.
