Recap: Northern Ariz vs. Weber State

Flagstaff, AZ (Sports Network) - Damian Lillard posted a game-high 18 points to lead the Weber State Wildcats to a 67-49 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in a Big Sky Conference tilt at the Rolle Activity Center.

Kyle Bullinger added 16 points in the win for Weber State (19-4, 11-1 Big Sky), while Byron Fulton chipped in 13 points off the bench as the Wildcats won their third in a row. Kyle Tresnak pulled down 10 rebounds in the winning effort.

Durrell Norman scored 11 points to pace NAU (5-20, 1-12) and Gaellan Bewernick pulled down 10 rebounds. The loss was the 12th in a row for the Lumberjacks.

Both squads shot at lackluster 37.0 percent clips during the opening frame, but a 7-of-7 effort at the charity stripe gave the Wildcats the upper hand and a 30-23 halftime lead.

In the second stanza, the Wildcats stifled the Lumberjacks to the tune of 25.8 percent from the floor to roll to a 18-point win.

The Lumberjacks shot just 31.0 percent from the field in the loss.
