Recap: Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State
Manhattan, KS (Sports Network) - Rodney McGruder poured in a game-high 24 points as the Kansas State Wildcats rolled to a 77-58 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a Big 12 Conference bout at Bramlage Coliseum.
Jamar Samuels finished with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds to help pace Kansas State (21-9, 10-8 Big 12), while Jordan Henriquez logged 16 points and grabbed eight boards off the bench.
Keiton Page scored 22 points for Oklahoma State (14-17, 7-11) but he also committed eight turnovers. Cezar Guerrero added 15 points in a losing effort.
The Cowboys shot at a commendable 50-percent clip during the opening stanza, but a 10-2 scoring edge at the foul line for Kansas State gave the home team a 40-33 halftime lead.
The Wildcats put the game away by shooting 51.5 percent from the field over the final 20 minutes en route to the 19-point win.
The Cowboys were guilty of 19 turnovers during the contest, which led to 24 points for the Wildcats.
