A destructive fire swept through a home in Downtown Redding Friday.
Crews were called to the home on Butte and Magnolia Streets just before 9:30 a.m. .
Firefighters had trouble battling the blaze because of vaulted ceilings on the home.
They were able to keep the fire from spreading to neighboring homes, but the structure was completely destroyed.
Nobody was inside at the time of the fire, but Action News was told at the scene that a person who had just moved out was seen at the home around midnight.
Firefighters have not determined the cause of the blaze.
