For the second time in three days, a pilot has made an emergency landing on Highway 70 near Pentz Road in Butte County.   California Highway Patrol officers say Ron Wilson and his 9 year old daughter Morgan were in the plane when it began experiencing mechanical problems.  The Paradise pilot told authorities he left the Paradise airport around 3:15pm for a joy ride in his homemade plane that he'd built in 1993.  About 10 minutes into the flight, he said his engine died, and that's why he made an emergency landing.
Wilson landed about a mile from where a Susanville pilot made a similar landing Thursday after experiencing engine problems.
