Football fans in the North State are divided as the Green Bay Packers go head to head with the San Francisco 49ers. Chico sports bars, like Bellas and the Graduate, were overflowing with 49er and "Cheesehead" fans for the NFL playoff game. The head-to-head faceoff on the gridiron at Candlestick Park in San Francisco is dividing fans in the North State; forcing them to choose between red and gold or green and yellow. Sports bar specials like Bellas famous wings and the Graduate's drinks helped encourage fans to huddle up. For many the atmosphere is part of the experience. No matter which color you bleed the NFL spirit is shining bright here in the North State.
