The Chico Physician's assistant accused of rape and kidnapping says he is not guilty. 40-year-old Lonnie Keith was arraigned Wednesday morning. Keith was arrested early Saturday while detectives were patrolling the area where there have been eleven attacks on college-age women in the past 18 months. Detectives found bedding, syringes, gloves and nylons inside Keith's car, and the back windows were covered with blankets. Both victims in the most recent kidnappings and rape were reportedly injected with a sedative before having their hands and feet bound with zip ties and their eyes covered with tape. Keith will be back in court in about two weeks. He remains jailed on 3.2 million dollars bail.
