Butte County authorities have confirmed that a bone found at the base of Feather Falls belongs to a man swept over the falls last year.
Search and rescue teams recovered the bone in October during a search, and DNA tests have now confirmed that it belonged to 27 year old Chico native Mitch Padula.
Padula was presumed dead after falling into the water and going over the 410 foot falls east of Oroville last April.###
