A new fire burning near the Gilman Road exit on Interstate Five briefly shut down the northbound lanes, and now traffic is restricted to one lane starting at Fawndale. It's called the "Coal" fire and started at 3:30 Friday afternoon. The fire is burning eastward. Evacuations are underway in the Lakeview Estates and along Gilman Road. An Evacuation Center is being set up at Central Valley High School. A command center is set up at the O'Brien rest area.
