Chico police are investigating the death of a Chico State student.
22-year-old Carly Callaghan was found unresponsive her roommates in their Hobart Street home at around 7:15 Sunday night.
Sgt. Curtis Prosise told Action News, "Medics responded and arrived and determined the person, a young female, 22 years-old was deceased."
Investigators do not believe foul play was involved, but are not commenting further about a possible cause of death.
Callaghan was a Senior at Chico State, set to graduate in May with a degree in Graphic Design.
She was from San Anselmo in Marin County.
Police are waiting for toxicology results to determine exactly how she died.
This is the third death of a college student in Chico in the past month.
