The new year is almost here bringing with it new years resolutions, which are easy to make, and even easier to break. Statistically shown the top five resolutions picked each year are lose weight, getting organized, spend less and save more, enjoy life to the fullest, and staying fit and healthy. Chico resident Ryan Coyle says, "my plans for the new year are to work out get in better shape for the new year." "More time with the family better budget with the money, the fitness is definitely going to be one of my goals,"said In Motion Fitness's general manager Chris Conway.
Chico resident Bob Ochipinti, "to be a gentler person to leave a smaller foot print on this planet."

The always popular resolution to hit the gym stands out at the top for many. In Motion Fitness's general manager Chris Conway says this is their busiest time of year. According to statistics roughly 45-percent of Americans make some form of resolution to bring in the new year but after just six months less than half of those pledges have panned out and in the end only eight-percent of resolutions are successful.

"Unfortunately we do see a fall off but i'd like to believe that more and more people are experiencing that fitness should be part of their life," said Conway. Having too many resolutions can also keep you from success, it's best to focus on just one but no matter what you're promising you are the only one that can accomplish your goal.
