The search is still on for a man who fired at least seven shots at a Chico cab in an apparent road rage attack.
It all happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on E. 3rd Ave. near Oleander Ave.
Ed Ort, the cab driver, tells Action News that the whole incident started when he left Downtown Chico after picking up a pair of customers and got in a cat and mouse game with the suspect who apparently thought he had been cut off.
A short time later the man reportedly fired at least seven shots at the cab.
All three people in the cab were hit, but suffered minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned African American man driving a mid-size white pickup truck.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Chico Police.
Action News caught up with the Ort, who also owns the cab company to get the story from his perspective.  You can watch the video that aired on Action News as well as the entire interview on the video player on this page.
