A Paradise artist with stars in his eyes is making his mark all over the world.

Frank Wilson uses glowing phosphorus paint to make his astronomically correct art come alive.

You can have his masterpiece on a ceiling or a wall but you can only see it in complete darkness.

From shooting stars, to the Milky Way, Wilson's work of art is one of a kind.

"A lot of people have told me it helps them contemplate the bigger issues in life, the deeper things. Why are here? Where we are going? What should I be doing with my life?  Who created all of this?" says Wilson.

He has been painting for more than 30 years but it was only a few years ago that he started working on starscapes and with the help of his wife started incorporating murals.

The special paint he uses is only available to artists and costs $3,000 dollars a gallon, although he only uses just a little bit on each painting, so the cost of his art work is considerably lower than that.

I had Frank Wilson and his wife come into my home to do a starscape on my ceiling and it was everything that was promised and some. Its been a year since it was done and it looks just as brilliant as it did the first day (well actually night). Frank and his wife are both wonderful people and very easy to talk too. I am one very satisfied customer.
