The Torres Community Shelter is in the running for a grant that could go a long way toward helping chico's homeless.
Online voting determines the winner in the "Chase Community Giving" program.
Five million dollars in grants will be distributed between one-hundred-96 charities ... with $250 thousand dollars going to the top vote-getter.
The Torres Shelter serves homeless men, women and families ... about 700 people a year.
The deadline to vote is Wednesday, September 19th.
