The Chico State womens soccer team defeated Cal State L.A. in thrilling fashion today to capture the west regional title. After neither team scored in 110 minutes worth of soccer, the match went to penalty kicks where the Cats eventually knocked off the Golden Eagles 4-3, 8 kicks in. The win advances Chico to the NCAA Quarterfinals, where they will face Abilene Christian on Sunday in Los Angeles.
