For the third straight year no Northern Section football teams were selected to play in any of the CIF State Bowl Games. This years matchups include:

Div. IV (Small School): NORTH Le Grand 12-0 (Le Grand) vs. SOUTH Sierra Canyon 14-0 (Chatsworth)
Div. I: NORTH Bellarmine 12-1 (San Jose) vs. SOUTH Santa Margarita 12-2 (Rancho Santa Margarita)
Saturday 12/17
Div. III: NORTH Campolindo 14-0 (Moraga) vs. SOUTH Washington Union 13-0 (Fresno)
Div. II: NORTH Del Oro 13-1 (Loomis) vs. SOUTH Helix 12-1 (La Mesa)
Open Division: NORTH De La Salle 12-1 (Concord) vs. SOUTH Westlake 14-0 (Westlake Village)
The only Northern Section school ever to be selected was Hamilton in 2008. The Braves lost to St. Margaret's of San Juan Capistrano 59-7.
