A Chico doctor and his wife accused of killing their two-year old son waived their right to a preliminary hearing this morning and are headed to trial.
James and Edelyn Yhip are charged with felony murder in connection with the death of their adopted son, "Benjamin". Investigators say Benjamin died from blunt force trauma to the head, but the defense says he suffered from a genetic medical condition.
The two are expected back in court on October Eleventh.
