A February trial date has been set for the Chico couple accused of killing their adopted son.
James and Edelyn Yhip re-entered a "not guilty" plea in court Thursday, and the judge set their trial date for February 25, 2013.
The doctor and nurse are charged with murder and felony child endangerment in the death of their two year old son Benjamin.
The child was taken to Enloe Medical Center in April after a 9-1-1 call from Edelyn Yhip ... reporting he was unresponsive.
An autopsy showed the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.
The Yhips were arrested in July. ###
