A woman who was hit and trapped under a car at Redding's Win River Casino late last month, has been confirmed dead. The 68 year old woman, Susan Skaggs, had tripped and fallen in front of a car entering the casino parking lot. The driver Darla Hueft was dropping her mother off at the casino before parking and did not notice Skaggs in front of her car. The car had to be lifted off of Skaggs and she was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding, where she was in critical condition. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be involved in the accident and Hueft was not arrested.
