You've probably seen John Geiger pushing his cart around the downtown area. He's run a polish dog cart called "Crazy Dog," for 13 years. Saturday morning when he got to work, he realized hundreds of dogs, buns, condiments, olive oil, and his beloved popcorn machine had been stolen from his storage location. He believes it was a crime of opportunity, because he'd forgotten to shut the window after leaving it open to air out the room after mopping. Geiger says he was bummed at first, but can laugh about it now. He says the sausage-snatchers can keep the meat, but he'd like the popcorn machine back, because his kids use it to make popcorn on movie night. Geiger says he works 10 hours a day, 6 days a week on his small business, and in the end, karma may catch up with these grub grabbers. He says people should be on the lookout for someone with an unusually large number of polish sausages, and a large popcorn machine. The thieves chose not to take the hot links, onions, or sauerkraut.
