A chilly weather system brought snow to parts of the North State Wednesday morning.
There were plenty of vehicles on the road with snow on top on Highway 44 west of Shingletown.
There was one to two inches of snow on the ground as of 11:00 a.m.
And snow plow operators got right to work trying to clear the roadways, but travelers will still need to play it safe and prepare for winter driving conditions.
Snow was also reported at the 3000 to 3500 foot level in Cohasset and Forest Ranch ##
