The trial for accused murderer Mark Duenas won't take place for another six months.
Duenas was in Shasta County Superior Court Wednesday, where the judge set the trial date for may 14th.
The Cottonwood man is accused of killing his wife Karen. a mother of five and educator at Shasta College.
She was found stabbed to death in her bedroom last May, but her husband wasn't arrested for the crime until five months later.
