A three year old boy is in the hospital this morning after being hit by a car in Redding as his mother pushed his stroller across the street. The accident happened shortly after eight last night at Eureka Way near Overhill Drive. Police say 25 year old  Michelle Sudeta tried to cross the highway with her three children...pushing her son in a stroller and her two daughters ages eight and nine following behind her. She got into the westbound lanes of Eureka Way and that's when a car hit the stroller, throwing the boy from it. He suffered multiple fractures and was taken to a local hospital, then flown to UC Davis. No one else was hurt. Police say Sudeta and her children are homeless, and she was intoxicated. She was arrested for endangering the lives of her children. All three children were turned over to the Shasta  County Children and Family Services.
