Action News is on your side with a growing website that can save you big bucks on books, cd's and dvd's.

Paperbackswap.com was started several years ago as a cheap way for readers to exchange books. Now the site has more than 4 million titles to choose from.

Members post the books they no longer want and once a reader somewhere else wants your book you mail it to them. Then when you find a book you want another reader mails it to you.

"Every time you mail a book, you get one back. So all the books are free, so the only cost is the cost of postage," explained

The success of paperbackswap has spawned similar sites for cd's and dvds.

You can visit all the swap websites by visiting our newslinks section.
