Hundreds of middle school students have come to Chico from as far away as the Bay Area and Tahoe. They're here for the 20th annual Reach For The Future Leadership Conference. The conference is put on by the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health. More than 300 kids learned how to over come fears and gain confidence through activities that stimulate the heart, mind and body. When the conference ends camp leaders hope the kids will take home what they learned and continue to grow from their leadership knowledge.
