Red Bluff Police Sargeant Graham has confirmed that a body found in a field behind Red Bluff High School is believed to be a missing 14 year old girl.
Shortly before noon Thursday a massive turnout of law enforcement officers occurred in an area known as "Honda Hills".
There were 16 law enforcement vehicles, including Red Bluff Police, Tehama County Sheriff, the Coroner's van and SWAT Team, as well as helicopters overhead.
"Honda Hills" is a large field just south of the Red Bluff High School track, and North of St. Mary's Cemetery.
Officials are remaining tight lipped about the incident, but say the family of Marysa Nichols has been notified, and that a news conference is planned for 8 o'clock tonight.
Nichols was last seen Tuesday morning when her mother dropped her off at school.
Action News Reporter Colin Lygren observed a "Missing" poster about the teenagers disappearance being removed from the window of the Red Bluff Police department when he arrived to inquire about the investigation.
