A press conference held Tuesday has revealed that a shooting involving a Butte County Sheriff's Deputy was justified.
That's the word of Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey.
The shooting happened December 20th of 2012. Magalia resident Wayne Oxley was fatally shot when he pointed a gun at deputy Chris Dineen.
The Butte County Officer Involved Shooting and Critical Incident Team has labeled the shooting a "suicide by cop".
