A Willows parent is upset that her son was expelled from school, over two shotguns found in his truck parked off campus.  Gary Tudesko, age 16, was expelled from Willows High School last week after police found two shotguns and ammunition in his pickup truck parked near the school on a public street.  A scent-sniffing dog had noticed something unusual around the vehicle, leading police to the guns.  Firearms are not allowed in the school zone, which includes a 1000 foot area around the school.  His truck was parked within the school zone, but technically not on school grounds.

Tudesko's mother, Susan Parisio, is upset that her son was expelled.  She says he and friend had just returned from duck hunting that morning, and didn't have time to return the firearms back home.  Instead, Tudesko parked on a public street, left the firearms in the truck, and went to school.  The Willows Police Chief William Spears says investigators did not feel there was criminal intent, so Tudesko was not arrested.  Now that he's been expelled, Tudesko's mother plans to appeal the ruling to the Glenn County School Board.
