CHP officers are searching for an truck involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the Midway south of Chico.
Investigators say the driver of this grey Chevy half-ton Silverado swerved onto the shoulder of the road near Roble Road, at about 3:00 p.m. Wednesday ... hitting a 61-year-old bicyclist.
The bicyclist died of his injuries, authorities have not released his identity.
The model year of the Silverado is estimated between 2003 and 2007 ... and it has an extended cab.
