A Paradise couple is arrested after materials for making explosives and several guns are found inside their home. Paradise Police, along with help from the Butte County Bomb Squad and the FBI, served a search warrant at a home off of Melody Lane yesterday. Once inside, several explosive making materials were found along with several guns, some were illegal assault weapons. Law enforcement officials said that after conducting the search, Helen Murphy, 55, and Clifton Murphy, 50, were found in their vehicle outside the residence. A Glock .45 caliber handgun was also found inside the car. The couple was arrested and booked into the Butte County jail. Helen's bail is set at $190,000 and Clifton's is set at $165,000. The investigation is still ongoing.
