A Butte Sounty jury Friday delivered a guilty verdict in the trial of a Yankee Hill man accused of killing his housemate.
65-year-old John Halsema was convicted of second degree murder by use of a firearm.
Deliberations lasted six hours.
Halsema shot and killed Craig Davies last February in the home the two shared ... during an argument over Halsema's Dog.
Halsema, who is already serving a three year sentence for a methamphetamine lab conviction, faces a maximum of 40-years-to-life in prison when he is sentenced next month.
