Police have released to the identities of the two people found dead and burned in Bidwell Park last week.
The victims are Darwin Alexander Rinner, 33; and Christine Annette Lawing, 51. Both were homeless.
The bodies of Rinner and Lawing were discovered last Wednesday after a nearby resident noticed something burning in the park, about 300 yards west of the Cedar Grove area. Police are asking that anyone who may have seen the fire or been in the Cedar Grove area in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 or might have information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Chico PD Detective Bureau at 897-5820.
