The Chico City Council is moving forward with an ordinance that will limit the growth of medical marijuana in the city.  At Tuesday's meeting, council members asked the city attorney to formulate an ordinance that they will consider in April.  Among the provisions that council members want to address, limiting the growth of medical marijuana to one Prop 215 prescription per residence.  They also want to prevent residents from growing medical marijuana for other patients.  And council members asked the city attorney to work on zoning provisions that would restrict medical marijuana dispensaries to certain areas of the city.
