After 35 years in business, Caffé Malvina is closing it's doors. The restaurant first opened for business in 1977 as a coffee shop on Broadway. Owners says it was known as a college hangout before moving to it's current location on West 3rd Street in 1983. It then became an italian restaurant. Denise and Brigida Corona say their family is grateful for so many friends and so much support. They say, "A
s much as it was an important part to our family, we were so blessed that other people welcomed us into their family and made us a part of their lives. We feel like were a part of chico history." Their last day of business is September 28.
