Tax season is upon us and if your looking for a cheap way to file Chico state accounting students are offering their services for free. This is the second year that Chico state has offered tax preparation services for people who make 50 thousand or less a year. They partner up with the IRS through a program called volunteer income tax assistance. Tax-preparation volunteers must pass tax exams at several levels provided by the IRS in order to assist any clients. Students will be helping people with their tax's every Saturday in the Bell Memorial Union building on campus from 11am to three pm until March 30th.
