Police were called out to an attempted robbery at Walgreens on East Avenue just after 5 a.m. Pharmacy employees told police that a man walked in and handed them a note telling them to hand over all of their oxycodone. Staff members denied the man, and he took off on foot. The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build, wearing a green baseball hat and grey sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Chico Police.
