Cort Klopping was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up he kept very busy with school as well as multiple sports all year round including, soccer, football, baseball and basketball.
Cort learned at a very young age the value of communication growing up with all deaf grandparents in the epicenter of the deaf community in northern California. As a child Cort became fluent in American Sign Language.
After graduating from Mission San Jose high school in Fremont Cort continued his education at California State University Chico, where he majored in communication design. While still in school Cort interned at action news and was quickly hired on to be a full time photographer. After graduation Cort started reporting and then became the weekend weather man for action news.
Since moving to Chico from the Bay Area Cort has fallen in love with the people here and the beautiful surroundings the north state has to offer.
