Bryan Callahan comes to Action News after spending the first five years of his career in news behind the camera. He started his career in Fresnowhere he worked as a producer on a morning show for nearly three years. He moved to Redding in July of 2009 and began working as a assignment editor for Action News, where he developed valuable contacts around the north state.
Bryan is a California-native born in Visalia, about an hour south of Fresno. He graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. While attending Fresno State, Bryan worked as a freelance sports writer for the Visalia Time-Delta covering high school sports and races at the local dirt track. He is a big sports fan, and loves playing softball in his free time. Bryan is also a big movie fan, especially movies that make him laugh.
