Audrey Asistio is excited to be back home in California as a reporter on KHSL/KNVN news. She comes from the beautiful Yakima Valley of Central Washington where she was a crime and court reporter for KIMA-TV.
A bay area native, Audrey graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Radio and Television with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, she honed her skills through internships at KTVU, KRON 4 and ABC 7 On Your Side. Audrey also anchored and reported on a cable news program called State of Events. From serving food to cashiering, she took on many jobs to pay her way through college, but her most memorable one was working as a cheerleader and ambassador for NFL's San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush. Go Niners!
When she's not reporting the news, Audrey enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to church, singing, working out and watching movies.
Audrey loves meeting new people, so don't hesitate to say "hi" if you see her around. She also believes the best stories come from the viewers, so if you have any ideas, email Audrey at
